TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. BOOKING AND PAYMENT:
1.1. All bookings are subject to availability and will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
1.2. Payments can be made via our payment system.
2. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING:
2.1. Full refunds are only given if the booking date is at least 7 days in advance.
2.2. Cancellations for a full refund must be made within 48 hours of the booking date.
2.3. Cancellations made after 48 hours of the booking date or within 7 days of the session date will forfeit the full payment.
2.4. Rescheduling can also be arranged, subject to availability. Any session(s) cancelled and not rescheduled within a 48-hour period prior to the session start date will forfeit the booking fee.
2.5. Any sessions cancelled or missed on the day of a session will incur full payment.
3. STUDIO USAGE:
3.1. Clients must arrive on time. Sessions will start and end at the scheduled times regardless of the client's arrival time.
3.2. Clients are given a 15 minute grace period at the end of their booking time to allow for packing up and vacating the studio. If clients exceed this grace period, they will be charged £15.
3.3. If there is availability, clients may continue to use the studio beyond their booked time, but they will be charged £15 for every additional 15 minutes. If no availability exists, clients must vacate the studio promptly.
3.4. The studio can accommodate a maximum of 4 people per session. If clients choose the @ShotbyFaces package, which includes shooting content with Faces, they may bring up to 3 additional people.
3.5. SMOKING POLICY: We enforce a strict no-smoking and vaping policy inside the studio and within any related building areas. Smoking is permitted only outside at the front of the building, along the main road.
Any smoking or vaping inside the premises will trigger the smoke alarms, automatically prompting a response from the fire brigade. In such an event:
A mandatory minimum charge of £750 will apply for the emergency services call-out, in addition to administration fees for resetting fire safety systems.
Any evidence of smoke within the building will incur a mandatory minimum charge of £250.
Clients are responsible for adhering to this policy to avoid unnecessary charges and disruptions.
4. CONDUCT:
4.1. Clients and their guests must behave in a respectful manner towards studio staff, property, and all other building guests.
4.2. Pets are not allowed in the studio premises.
4.3. The studio is in a shared building. We provide a speaker for music, but clients are reminded to be mindful of other building occupants and to use the speaker responsibly.
4.4. The studio reserves the right to terminate any session without refund if the client or their guests engage in illegal activities or disruptive behaviour.
4.5. Drinks are allowed in the studio, but no hot food.
5. RECORDING AND PRODUCTION:
5.1. The client is responsible for ensuring they have all necessary rights and permissions for any content recorded in the studio.
6. DELIVERY OF AUDIO AND VIDEO CLIPS:
6.1. Clients will receive their audio and video clips within 48 hours after their booking.
6.2. Files will be sent via WeTransfer to the email used for booking. Please note, files are only stored on WeTransfer for 30 days. We are not liable for any loss of files if they are not downloaded within this period. We keep backups on our system for 7 days.
6.3. Please email us at contact@30thstudios.com if there are any issues with your files within 7 days of receiving the link.
7. FORCE MAJEURE:
7.1. Neither Party shall be liable to the other Party for non-performance, delay, loss or damage from any cause or matter that is beyond a Party’s reasonable control, including without limitation, earthquake, fire, flood, communication disruptions, environmental conditions, war or other conflict, public disturbance, strikes, labour difficulties, unavailability of material or supplies or any delay by or impediment created by the other Party.
8. EQUIPMENT DAMAGE:
8.1. Where customers are utilising the studio and its equipment, if any equipment is damaged whilst under the client’s supervision, the client will be charged a fee equal to the cost of replacement in addition to an administration charge of £100 for the replacement of the defective items.
9. MEMBERSHIP:
9.1. The studio offers a rolling membership plan costing £150 per month with a £15 joining fee. This membership is billed monthly, and to cancel, customers must provide notice 7 days before their next payment is due.
9.2. Membership includes access to studio hours with a code issued after payment. (Please allow up to 2 working days after application to receive your membership code) Unused hours cannot be rolled over to the next month.
9.3. Membership customers receive a 10% discount on any further bookings and all add-ons , applicable only to the lead booker. Use of this discount by any other party will the full charge.
9.4. Members agree to maintain a Direct Debit instruction with their bank (or recurring international Credit Card payment for overseas members) for the Membership Amount. The first monthly Membership Amount is due on or before the start date, and subsequent monthly Membership Amounts will be due on the same day of each month until the Membership is cancelled.
10. PRICING CHANGES:
10.1. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change your monthly Membership Amount or our studio rates. If this happens, we’ll notify you not less than 21 days before the change is made. You are able to cancel your Membership or Session within this period, and if we do not hear from you within the period, the new amount will apply automatically.
11. PAYMENT OBLIGATIONS:
11.1. You agree to pay us the monthly Membership Amount or Session costs regardless of whether there is any temporary interruption in services during the period, foreseen or unforeseen. In circumstances where we are required to close or restrict facilities for any reason, no refunds will be due. In the event the Studio services are interrupted, you have the right to cancel your Membership or Session.
11.2. If any payment due from you is returned unpaid or not honoured, you will pay us on demand an administration fee of £15.
12. LIABILITY:
12.1. The studio is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property brought into the studio by the client or their guests.
12.2. The studio is not liable for any loss of data due to technical failures. It is recommended that clients back up their data promptly.
13. HEALTH AND SAFETY:
13.1. Clients and their guests must adhere to all health and safety guidelines provided by the building.
14. AMENDMENTS:
14.1. The studio reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes in advance.
15. ACCEPTANCE:
15.1. By making a booking and payment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
